Having reached nearly every country throughout the world, Jason Adams is quickly becoming one of the world’s leading experts in the field of Sanskrit mantra meditation. With the website Mantrapoly.com, as well as releasing over 200 mantra recordings through music streaming services (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.), he has put together one of the most utilized and reliable resources in Sanskrit mantra study. His recordings have produced over 1.5 million streams within the first year of Mantrapoly’s arrival.
Jason Adams began practicing yoga in 2001, and after becoming a certified teacher in 2005, has maintained a daily meditation practice for the last 12 years. He has studied various meditation practices and philosophies throughout the years. Beginning with Paramahansa Yogananda’s teachings, he then continued his training at H.H. Rishi Maha Mandaleshwar Sri Shambhavananda’s ashram in the Colorado Rockies in 2005. From 2007, Jason immersed himself in Namadeva Acharya’s Sanskrit mantra teachings, and began teaching mantra-based meditation practices in 2009.
In early 2015, Adams completed a 3-year classical mantra meditation discipline, chanting the Maha Mrityunjaya 125,000 times. After a number of spiritual insights, blessings, and “enlightenment”-type experiences, he became more interested in sharing his experiences and knowledge with students interested in mantra meditation. He then began compiling Sanskrit mantras to lay the foundation of Mantrapoly.com, which has become the largest online collection of Sanskrit mantras in the world.
After having chanted thousands of hours of Sanskrit mantra, Jason has a strong desire to share the many benefits that maintaining a consistent meditation practice can bring into one’s life. Adams also has a deep interest in studying the Vedic sciences: yoga, ayurveda, jyotisha (Vedic astrology) and vastu shastra (India’s version of feng shui). He finds it very fulfilling to help people discover their full potential by incorporating mantra meditation and the Vedic sciences into their daily lives.
Having grown up on a farm in the Midwest, Jason continues to enjoy spending time in nature with his dog Leena, gardening, stargazing, playing a number of musical instruments, and enjoys drawing yantras and sacred geometry.
