Tonya's sincere commitment to living an intentional life in balance, while developing a personal daily practice allowing for a sustainable connection to Infinite Consciousness, has allowed her to overcome tremendous physical challenges and create space for deep healing. A lifelong dancer, with her foundation being rooted in physicality to access her fully expressed-self, years of incorporating a disciplined yoga practice allowed her to also dance with the fluctuations of her mind and access inner peace. Kundalini later amplified all aspects of Self, giving her the technical know-how to activate her greatest creative potential and deepest strength, while simultaneously allowing her to soften, and find true freedom in the flow of life.
Tonya has had the honor of studying with extraordinary teachers, including Gurmukh, Guru Singh, Sukhdev Jackson, Kia Miller and more. She is a certified Hatha andKundalini teacher while mentoring young girls through Mindful Empowerment and working intimately with clients one-on-one.
Tonya incorporates breathwork, asana, movement, mantra, meditation and relaxation to offer students the space to have a nourishing personal experience, drop in with the facets of themselves seeking their attention, and make it feel good.
While Self-care has always been a priority, it became a non-negotiable in managing chronic pain due to Scoliosis and Her Pain became her Purpose. Tonya’s devotion to Self-care and the transformative power of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation as taught by Yogi Bhajan, has fostered her passion to Elevate and Shine on the healing journey of others, inspired to cultivate an Empowering, Soulful practice.
